The Point of Freedom Experience
Point of Freedom Recovery Community provides its recovery house residents with an affordable, structured sober living environment in a safe and supportive home as they address and overcome the many barriers faced in the recovery process. POF is also committed to providing community based programming connecting all people in recovery with the resources and service providers for the greatest possible outcomes.

Peaceful Living Quarters
Structured living gives each resident an opportunity to learn and apply new skills and experiences. POF residents experience a positive home life, independent living and stable relationships as a major step in the recovery process.

Lifestyle and Fitness Area
The structure provided to residents allows for time and safety to address personal issues related to securing necessary social services, legal assistance, school and training placement, job readiness and permanent housing.

Group Counseling and Support Networks
It is recommended that residents attend weekly Recovery Support meetings. The recommended number of meetings is greater for women who are not currently employed or enrolled in school or training programs.

Methodology
All residents of POF are obligated to take part in mandatory bi-weekly meetings within the facility geared toward the prevention of substance use relapse and encouraging self-fulfillment. POF advises residents to attend weekly Narcotics, Alcohol, or Cocaine Anonymous , as well as Recovery Support meetings.
